Halcor (Copper tube division of ElvalHalcor SA), was awarded at the “Made in Greece Awards 2019”, by receiving the silver award in the Innovative Industrial Product category. In particular, this award was for the innovative CUSMART®. The award event was held on Monday, December 16, at the Athens Concert Hall.
This award is a confirmation of Halcor’s business path, with an emphasis on technology investment, research and development and the creation of high value-added products and solutions.
CUSMART® flexible tubes with external industrial insulation are suitable for all heating and hot water supply plumbing networks inside and outside buildings. The insulation is a crosslinked polyethylene (PE-X) foam structured in closed type microcells. Energy saving is a result of the spectacular reduction of temperature loss to over 50% compared to similar networks without insulation. The Made in Greece Awards are part of the ongoing effort of the Greek Marketing Academy to empower and disseminate a new innovation and extroversion development model that responds to current production and marketing challenges based on quality, innovation, diversification, targeted markets, international distribution networks and strong brand names. The purpose of this institution is to promote and reward companies and organizations that achieve excellent performance in the creation and marketing of products with significant added value for the Greek economy.
