As a responsible manufacturer, HALCOR always operates according to the highest Health and Safety standards.Due to the increase of public health concerns over the globally spreading SARS-CoV-2 virus and COVID-19 disease, also known as Coronavirus, HALCOR acted immediately and developed a Covid-19 Protocol and activated the Crisis Management Team to monitor its implementation. The Protocol includes detailed guidelines to effectively manage each potential case of infection, authorizations & prohibitions and regulated accesses. Main actions are the following: ? All employees, suppliers and everyone entering HALCOR’s premises are scanned with a thermometer at the entrance and proceeds according to the detailed guidance of the Protocol. Sanitizing alcoholic hand gel is placed at the entrance for obligatory usage, whereas others are placed to every working station. Medical protective masks and gloves are provided.

Copper Value Chain.HALCOR’s vertical integration with production lines that include stages of casting, extruding, processing and foam production, enable us a robust undistracted and continuous business operation. Adding to this, our procurement department is in close contact with all our suppliers, ensuring our supply chain continuity. HALCOR has already initiated a Covid-19 Protocol that prevents any disruption in our manufacturing process by taking the following measures:Ordering raw materials with a long term stock coverage thus, stabilizing our production.Cooperating closely with our suppliers thus, enabling flexibility on the fluctuations of demand. This action in combination with the already long-lasting and established relationship with our key suppliers has offered us the possibility of an uninterrupted supply chain till now.Maintaining transparency and traceability of our supply chain and enabling alternate sourcing in order to cover possible delays or shortages.

Halcor (Copper tube division of ElvalHalcor SA), was awarded at the “Made in Greece Awards 2019”, by receiving the silver award in the Innovative Industrial Product category. In particular, this award was for the innovative CUSMART®. The award event was held on Monday, December 16, at the Athens Concert Hall.This award is a confirmation of Halcor’s business path, with an emphasis on technology investment, research and development and the creation of high value-added products and solutions.CUSMART® flexible tubes with external industrial insulation are suitable for all heating and hot water supply plumbing networks inside and outside buildings. The insulation is a crosslinked polyethylene (PE-X) foam structured in closed type microcells. Energy saving is a result of the spectacular reduction of temperature loss to over 50% compared to similar networkswithout insulation.

With this letter, we would like to inform you regarding the upcoming new structure of HALCOR, namely, the merger by absorption of “FITCO S.A.” by the Copper Tubes division of ELVALHALCOR. Specifically, we announce that the Boards of Directors of the companies “ELVALHALCOR” and its 100% subsidiary, non-listed company “FITCO METAL WORKS SINGLE MEMBER S.A.” as per their decisions, on 14/5/2021, decided the commencement of preparatory activities for the merger by absorption of “FITCO” by “ELVALHALCOR”.

ElvalHalcor, received two awards at the “Bravo Sustainability Dialogue & Awards”,, reaffirming once again the Company’s commitment to sustainability principles and to the implementation of responsible business practices. This year’s “Bravo Awards” took place at the online Sustainability Week 2021 event, organized by Quality Net Foundation (QNF) during the week May 31 to June 5, 2021.

Halcor, the copper tubes division of ElvalHalcor, was awarded for its approach in the recycling of copper and copper alloys, in the scope of the “Bravo Sustainability Dialogue & Awards,” which took place in an online event, on Friday, June 4, 2021.

On 01.07.2021 the decision with Registration Code Number 2574251 and protocol Nr.73823/01.07.2021 of the Ministry of Development and Investments, General Secretariat ofCommerce and Consumer Protection, was registered in the General Commercial Registry(“G.E.MI.”). By operation of the aforesaid decision the merger by absorption of “FITCO” by theCopper Extrusion division of ELVALHALCOR was approved.
